How do you get to Ala Blanca +

Most everyone knows the best hunting locations around the world are not easy to get to.

What type of identification is needed to enter Mexico? +

In order to enter Mexico, you must have a valid passport, passport card (cannot be used for air travel) or green card. For information on how to obtain a U.S. Passport, click here - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/how-apply.html

What is the weather like at Rancho Ala Blanca? +

The hot season lasts for almost 5 months, from early April to early September, with an average daily high temperature above 93°F.

The cool season lasts for a little over 2 months, from late November to early February, with an avoerage daily high temperature below 81°F.

Do you need any special vaccines before visiting? +

No.

What forms of payment do we accept? +

Credit Card, Personal Checks, Company Checks, Cash, Venmo. Checks: Funds are deemed received on the date funds clear. Credit Cards: May be used to secure reservations. With the option of discounted cash payment at Ala Blanca in lieu of Credit Card billing.

Can you book out our entire facilities for a private hunt? +

Yes. With advanced planning and coordination.

How many personal firearms can you bring? +

Two. You must obtain a permit from The Mexican Secretariat of National Defense before bringing any firearm into the country.

Is there a dress code? +

No. We do not have an established dress code. Minimal acceptable attire - shorts, t-shirts, flip flops.

Do we have high speed internet access? +

No. Our Facility is located in an extremely rural and remote area.

What are the customs for tipping ala Blanca dining and lodging staff? +

House tip for employees that you may never see, that is later divided amongst employees. Suggested amount $100 - $250. Individualized personal tips for the staff you encounter is not included in this amount. (i.e., Room Staff, Wait Staff, Field Staff, etc.)

How far away from our accommodations are our hunting sites? +

It depends on where the birds are. From out front of the compound to 30 minutes or so. Scouts are finding the birds. That’s where we go. It’s not pre-planned to specific fields for the season. Depending on weather, temps, time of season, ect. We may hunt fields, water holes, pass shooting, roost. Depends on where the birds are. They are a migratory bird. Not a local bird that flies back and forth between the grocery store and home...

Can I request a specific Beverage? Alcohol or otherwise? +

While we encourage you to enjoy the selection that we make available, we can make arrangements to get you the drink of your choice. This is of course at an extra cost.
