What does Rancho Ala Blanca mean in English? It means, White Wing Ranch. Why the name? The ranch is named for the White Winged dove we love to pursue. Why the location? Ala Blanca’s location was first identified in 2003 when it was just a row crop field overlooking the Soto La Marina river. It is without a doubt an ideal location to set out in pursuit of the winged game it was built to support. From White Winged Dove, wild bobwhite quail, ducks, and mourning dove to the varied specialty hunts involving a myriad of local game the Ala Blanca facilities hit the bullseye for the ideal location to set out on the hunt and then return to refuel, relax, and set out again.
